There's No Place Like Home

There's no place like home.... to do a family reunion, that is! This year we decided to do fun things around Salt Lake, instead of traveling somewhere. It turned out to be a lot of fun. It was also really nice for all those husbands who had to work!

We started the reunion out with some bowling. The kids loved it!

After bowling, we went over to my Aunt Bonnie's backyard for a delicious dinner.

On Friday we spent the day at Raging Waters. The kids went nonstop all day and weren't ready to leave when it closed that night.

We ran across this creature (Corey) on our way to the lazy river...

Tanner never stayed put long enough for me to get a picture. I guess I'll have to try to get one from someone else.

On Saturday we headed up Millcreek Canyon. We went on a fun little hike...
We painted rocks, roasted marshmallows, played minute to win it, and hung out. Eventually we got rained out by a huge rainstorm.
I promise that Tanner was here, too. He just has lots of boys to hang out with in the Bird family. He doesn't usually stick around when the family is together.
