Easter Visitor

Easter weekend was extra special this year because we had an extra special visitor! My Grandma Whipple came to visit us from Oregon over spring break. We did lots of fun things together. We had a girls night out where we went to dinner and a movie. My grandma took us girls shopping for home decor, and we had fun hanging out at my parents house. On Saturday my mom planned a super fun Easter party for all the kids. We played Easter bingo and made lots of yummy treats.

Here we are with our traditional Easter "lipstick" (from licking robin eggs)Grandpa took Ashlyn and Raylee on a fun horsey ride...

On Sunday the kids were spoiled by a visit from the Easter bunny.

Then we headed down to South Jordan for a delicious dinner, treasure hunt, and our annual egg cracking contest. Emily won the trophy this year.

Gotcha

We usually do a fun dinner for April Fools Day. However, we had plans in South Jordan that night. So, Baylen and I decided to change up the kid's breakfast. Baylen flipped the table over and the kids had pancakes in a cup and juice in a bowl. We also gave them funky utensils to eat with. Yes... they think their parents are crazy!

I promise I didn't dress Ashlyn!

Too Lucky!

It seems like St. Patrick's Day gets bigger every year. Several years ago the kids in the neighborhood decided to set a St. Patty's leprechaun trap. It's been a tradition ever since. Here are the pictures of the traps and notes...

Unfortunately they didn't catch any leprechauns, but they did catch some yummy green treats!

That night we had our traditional green meal...
