Granite Flats

We are very lucky to have some of the best neighbors ever! We love hanging out with them. This summer we decided to plan a camping trip all together (Four families). The kids were in heaven being able to go on a vacation with all their best friends!

We ended up camping in American Fork Canyon at Granite Flats. None of us had ever been there before but it ended up being beautiful!

Here are all the kiddos together. I did kind of feel bad for the surrounding campsites. We definitely weren't quiet!
We had lots of fun fishing and playing at the lake!
The Mangone's rented a canoe that we had a blast with! although there were a few times that I feared for my life with all the crazy, fearless kids that we would jam into the canoe!

Happy 4th!

This year the 4th was on a Sunday. So, we got to party all weekend! We went to two different parades, did fireworks, Baylen played in a volleyball tournament, and we went to a splash park. Unfortunately, we didn't have the camera for everything. But, we did get a few pictures...

The kids and I went to the Kaysville parade with Brian and Tavi. It was a much better parade this year than it's been in the past. In fact, I think they overdid themselves this year. It was almost two hours long!!!
We also painted faces...
We HAD to do something on Sunday (since it was the actual 4th). So, we made a yummy flag cake
